The Shakespeare Schools Festival takes place country wide in November, we felt very proud to be taking part in such a great festival.
The Shakespeare play this year was 'Much ado about nothing'.
We had great fun deciding who was going to be the following characters; Claudio, Hero, Benedict,
Beatrice, Ursula, Don John, Don Pedro and Leonato.
We had a workshop at the Abbey theatre in October, learning all about stage presence and how to take a bow!
The performance was on Tuesday 19th November 2019 at 7pm, we spent the afternoon at the theatre doing a technical rehearsal and then a dress rehearsal, performing in front of another school.
The performance in the evening was fantastic, our families and friends and teachers from school came to watch, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to take part in the next Shakespeare play!!
