World Book Day - Dr Seuss
On World Book Day, the whole school took part in a Dr Seuss themed day, where they had the opportunity to be immersed in the world of Dr Seuss. Students and staff were invited to dress up as characters from various Dr Seuss books and we had a whole array of Cats in Hats, Things 1 and 2, and the Lorax around the school for the day.
During the day, students took part in activities such as a Hop on Pop Obstacle Course, Green Eggs and Ham Crazy Cooking session, A Search for the Truffala Tree in the sensory garden and a Red Fish Blue Fish, One Fish Two fish themed swimming session. Alongside a wide range of Dr Seuss themed activities in class. It is safe to say a brilliant time was had by all students, who relished the opportunity to try out different activities over the course of the day.
