EYFS
The Early Years department consists of three classes, Buttercups, Daisies and Dandelions.
The Early Years is about providing all pupils the best start to their time at Watling View. We want to provide the awe and wonder through carefully considered learning opportunities an enriching learning environment and learning through play.
At Watling View, we understand the importance of a strong foundation in a child's education. Our EYFS curriculum is designed to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth, preparing your child for future success in their academic journey. We work closely with parents to ensure a seamless transition from home to school, building strong partnerships to support your child's learning and development. The Family Liaison Advisor and teacher conduct a home visit as well as visiting the young person in their current setting.
Pupils in EYFS follow a three year rolling programme. Please read the attached documents for further information. If you have any questions about EYFS Curriculum please contact the school.

What Families Say About EYFS
The understanding and care from the school in my child’s first couple of months has been amazing, and we really appreciate everything you do for him. I think the transition for both my child and us as parents has been excellent
I am so grateful to all the staff at Watling View they have worked extremely hard to put a plan in place for my child and make his transition as easy as possible
The transition was fabulous I love that my child was seen in her previous setting and you have taken the time to understand the needs of my child. I think the home visit was amazing so we could talk in detail about my child. As a parent since day 1 and even prior to that I have felt so supported and connected to the team, you all go above and beyond to inform, report back and help with any questions
