Road Safety Week
This week was Road Safety week, and all the students have been involved in lots of fun activities to support their understanding and awareness of the world around them.
We have used our community visits to practice how to cross the roads safely. We've been making traffic light biscuits and cakes, learning about people who keep us safe at school and in our local community, and also making traffic light crafts.
One of the highlights of the week, was a visit from 6 St Albans Police officers. They did an interactive assembly on road safety, and the students enjoyed dressing up as police officers. On the playground, the students had an opportunity to explore a police van, and even sit in the drivers seat and turn on the siren!
