Tub2Pub Project

Our school has been proud to take part in the Tub2Pub project, an initiative that helps to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Over recent weeks, pupils and families worked together to collect plastic confectionery tubs, which were then recycled as part of the Tub2Pub scheme.

As part of the project, some pupils from Upper School visited the Battle Axes Pub to deliver the collected tubs for recycling. During this visit, pupils also had the opportunity to practise valuable life skills. They worked on their social interaction and money-handling skills by confidently ordering a drink in a real-life community setting.
