Watling View School

'Watling View Does Glastonbury' Week

Watling View had the best time celebrating 'Glastonbury Week'!

We welcomed 'Joe Harvey White' on Monday for some immersive music sessions, as well as hosting 'The Jungle Book' theatre production.

Tuesday saw some students from each class head to St Albans Cathedral for Electric Umbrella's 'Shine a Light' music concert, which was brilliant! A 'sound beam' session was also ran throughout this day for selected students.

On Wednesday, students loved participating in a 'dance party' in the hall, joining in with different dance  moves and integrating with different peers throughout the school.

Thursday involved some circus-style games in the Gym, alongside a firm favourite - the ice cream van. A special thank you to the PSA for this, the students loved it!

Throughout the week, classes made their own Glastonbury flags and these were used for the main event of the week - WV Fest! The whole school enjoyed a nacho communication station, face glitter station, and loved boogying to the 'WV band' on the playground! It was a fantastic week!
