At Watling View School we use Twinkl as our phonics programme.
At Watling View, we understand and place value on the teaching of Early Reading, we therefore recognise that a highly structured, consistent phonics programme supports students learning of reading.
At Watling View, we use the phonics system Twinkl, which is implemented with adaptations to suit students with Special Educational Needs. When completing phonics work, students are split into groups of similar ability in order to ensure students make progress at a pace suited to their developmental stage.
