Kartik carried the basket around the supermarket, collecting some bananas. He placed the basket by the till. He then put the bananas into the carrier bag with minimal support and held the bag on his lap.

With adult prompting, Thomas was able to clap out the syllables to some familiar words eg, trousers, window, cake and fire. He then pointed to the correct number of claps on the answer sheet. This activity forms part of Thomas’s Speech & Language Programme.

Eliza made sandwiches for the cafe, she helped with putting them in boxes, sticking on stickers and putting them on display for customers.

Skyla asked the caretaker for assistance to sweep up the rubbish. She looked very happy while sweeping C4 C5.

Harry was really engaged in our first session on ‘Dear Zoo’. He joined in with lots of elements of the sensory story, making all the animals sounds and wanting to lift the flaps on each page. He wanted to play with the animals toys during the rest of the day. After the story, he sat down with a group and completed the learning task he was set; tracing over letters. He completed all 8 words with some adult prompting and showed good pencil control.

David clearly picked between mushrooms and leeks to cut up, he chose mushrooms. David then cut up the leek followed by grating the cheese with hand over hand support. David waited his turn until the pastry was ready and the cheese and egg was mixed before it was his turn to pour the rest of the ingredients. David was excellent at cooking and enjoyed the quiche at the end!
