Ananya was really excited to explore some grape juice, using pipettes in class. She pointed to it and the adult told her what it was. She liked scooping the juice into a cup & she then watched the adult pinch the pipette.

During his literacy lesson, Charlie was able to match up some cvc words linked to our class story. After some verbal prompting and a choice of two words to make the right choice match, he then tried to follow the track marks over letters with a pencil.

Hayyan found the correct symbol from a choice of 2, with symbols, verbal prompts and gestures. He enjoyed using the frogs and watching the song on the whiteboard. We did numbers 1-3.

In class, Beth made some charoset for Passover. She was able to follow instructions, chopped her apples and was adding the ingredients, then she was able to press the button on the blender. Beth tried the charoset with some crackers at snack time & engaged well.

Bailey- Mae engaged well with the class task to count beads up to 5, into a cup, with verbal prompts. She showed a good understanding of the number of beads she needed to count out.

Reese sat using Grid 3 to play 'more or finished'. Selecting different media to view using a reactivation switch, Reese was patient and was aware of the correct switch, despite there being movement on the screen throughout.

Elliot was able to make a full ‘I want’ sentence during snack time, to request an item in the cafe using a core board.

Jacob had a great morning on the sponsored walk, completing it in 11 minutes by walking very fast. Jacob enjoyed walking independently within the community. Jacob used his communities took book when he got back to school he said he was feeling happy and then requested to have some time in the playground.

All the students in Voyagers enjoyed the walk. They were very chatty and engaged throughout and needed minimal support from staff and parents.
