• SLD Swimming Gala

  We attended our annual SLD Swimming Gala at Fanshawe Pool in Ware on the 27th June 2018.  We were triumphant the last 3 years and came away as winners and really wanted to repeat the success.   We WON!!! We had a fantastic team of Cameron, Stuart, David, Christopher, Valeria, Eliza.  Well done Watling View!

  

• Leavers Ceremony

  A beautiful ceremony for our five leavers Stuart, Cameron, Stephan, Jack and Kelly.

  

• Sleepover

  Year 3 and 4 children were invited to a sleepover in school. After school we played in the playground and visited the sensory room and soft play. A man delivered pizza to us and then we decorated our own ice creams with sauce and sprinkles. Before bed we had a treat of hot chocolate and biscuits then enjoyed a cinema experience with a DVD in the dark whilst all tucked up.

   

  In the morning we made our own breakfast and enjoyed another run around in the playground before home time. We all had a fantastic time!

  

• World Cup Theme Day

  On the 22nd June we celebrated the World Cup, by having a themed day.  The students got to have a go at a penalty shoot out, practice their football skills and learn about different countries throughout the world.  Great fun was had by all!

  

• Sibling Morning

  How wonderful seeing so many siblings at our Sibling Morning!  It was a lovely opportunity for them to come into their brother’s or sister’s class to meet their friends and see different activities.
