• Nourish to Flourish Cafe Opening

  Last week we officially opened Nourish to Flourish, our new purpose-built cafe.

   

  This has been a culmination of a number of years hard work and planning, and we know that this will continue to have a big impact on our pupils and their ability to be as prepared as possible for their adult life once they leave Watling View.  We were lucky enough to be joined by a number of VIP guests, including Cllr Annie Brewster, Chairman of Hertfordshire County Council as well as current and retired staff members who have helped shape and evolve the cafe over the years and our PSA, Governors and other people in our community who have generously contributed to setting up the new provision.  

  

• Middle School Cinema Trip

  Lower/Middle School had a fantastic school trip to the cinema. We travelled on the coach or buses to The Galleria. The pupils really enjoyed choosing their treats within their snack box. Best of all, the Odeon upgraded us to premier the screen so we really enjoyed watching ‘The Snow man’ in style with reclining chairs. Pupils particularly enjoyed watching the film with their feet up and a personal mini table to enjoy their yummy treats.
