  • Harvest Festival

    Tue 24 Sep 2019

Our Harvest Festival celebrations took place on September 24th and 25th.  A big thank you to the families that joined us to celebrate.  Katy Broxton led Lower Middle School's celebrations this year and they put on a show of singing and dancing about Harvest.  Whilst Upper School was led by Sarah Caudwell, they creatively told us what they were thankful for.

Louise Asher from the St Albans food bank spoke to the students and parents to say thank you for the food which had been donated and to inform us of where it goes once it leaves Watling View.

  • Jeans for Genes day

    Fri 20 Sep 2019

This year we supported Jeans for Genes day by wearing our jeans to school.  We raised a fantastic £94.99 and received the following thank you message:

"We want to say a huge thank you for taking part in Jeans for Genes Day.  Your fundraising efforts have made a massive difference to thousands of children with life-altering genetic disorders in the UK.

Thanks to you, we can continue to provide the vital support and care that children affected by genetic disorders so urgently need.

On behalf of all the children and families we support, thank you for taking part in Jeans for Genes Day".

  • Riverside Fishing Trip

    Wed 18 Sep 2019

Liam, James, Alfie, Francesco, Elliott and James all enjoyed glorious weather on a wonderful day at Riverside Fishery.  They were each assigned their very own fisherman and spent all morning fishing carp and crayfish at various spots along the bank.

At lunchtime we joined other schools and enjoyed a wonderful BBQ followed by an awards ceremony.
